Born in Mississippi and raised between rural calm and Midwest bustle, Norvain Tavender was a boy mesmerized by transformation—not just physical alteration, but the unseen shift that happens when someone sees themselves differently in the mirror. While others found comfort in sports or technology, Norvain found his joy in the pages of cosmetic chemistry books. At just twelve, he was mixing avocado oil into shea butter, trying to achieve what he describes as “a glow that wouldn’t quit—like summer on the skin.”

Yet, his pursuit of beauty was never superficial. Raised by a nurse and a community herbalist grandmother, Norvain saw the body as a whole system. Skin health wasn’t just topical—it was nutritional, spiritual, even geographical. He began to chart reactions to climate conditions around Jackson, Michigan and eventually crafted the earliest iteration of Dyxrozunon’s glow protocols based on Michigan’s often unpredictable temperature turns.
